Meet Kim Aronstam

Kim Aronstam (she/they) has been an Independent Living Assistant with Empower Tennessee since June 2025.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis on marketing and a minor in film from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Kim works remotely from rural Colorado.

Kim brings a wealth of lived experience including experience training service dogs and dealing with associated access issues. She is an award-winning filmmaker and has worked in a number of roles hosting film festivals. In her spare time you’ll find her teaching adults and children how to knit, crochet, weave and spin. She’s also an avid reader and gardener.
