Meet Kasondra Farmer

Kasondra Farmer (she/her) has been an Independent Living Specialist for Empower Tennessee since January 2023 and our Director of Engagement since October of 2023. Previously, she served as the Secretary and then the President of the Empower Tennessee Board of Directors.

Kasondra is excited to  be returning to the nonprofit sector after almost 9 years working in various back office positions for a major hospital network. 

Kasondra has been a long time advocate for people with disabilities in the state of Tennessee starting at the age of three. She currently sits on several nonprofit broads and also volunteers with a large number of organizations. 

When not working there is no telling Kasondra might show up. With a passion for everything from adaptive sports to the Arts she is always seeking and finding new adventures.
